My Papaw was a professional photographer. He took pictures of weddings, proms and did family portraits in his basement. As a child I was fascinated by all of his equipment, but the thing that intrigued me the most was this light meter. Camera's have automatic light meters in them now, but I remember him putting this up to a person's face to get the settings just right.
Papaw passed away in 1981, the summer before my 13th birthday. I was the oldest grandchild and had spent the most time with him. When I was 2 they say I used to call him Bumpy. He was a tough old bird with a heart of gold. He loved my Nana with a passion. This Father's Day I will miss him and wonder what he would have thought of his granddaughter.

Great memories. What a blessing to have grandparents that show us love...
Kim, I think your Papaw would have said something like this:
Proverbs 31:
28 Her children arise and call her blessed;her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “Many women do noble things,
but you surpass them all.”
Blessings to you!
